Dobbs Billiard Service Inc.
It has been my pleasure to have worked with Wayne Dobbs for many years. I live in the mountains of north Georgia , where there are virtually no reliable billiard service professionals within fifty miles. Wayne takes the time and makes the effort to come to us and provide for our needs. His work is beyond compare. He has worked on all of our tables, including original set up, recovering, installing new cushions, leveling slates, and all associated needs. He has worked on our Brunswicks , Gandys, off-brands, and my Diamond Pro. But the culmination of his ability was when it was necessary for him to reassemble, without any directions whatsoever, a 125-year-old Orme and Sons, 6'x12' antique English snooker table. Trust me, anyone who can put together a table like this, with five 330-lb free floating pieces of 1.5" slate, six legs, and rails that bolt in horizontally with cover panels, is truly a billiards guru! And, not only did he manage this completely on his own, but the table is perfectly level and plays like a world championship piece of equipment. Honestly, I don't think there are five people in the country who would even take on this job, much less succeed so dramatically.
